| April 2010 | Colin Rathbone & Maggie Fenn | April always sees some great marathon performances and this years was no exception with some impressive debuts and PBs. However, there were two outstanding perfomances that got everyone talking! This month's Athlete of the month award goes to both MAGGIE FENN for her fantastic run at the Bungay Marathon and to COLIN RATHBONE for his unbelievable performance at London. Well done both of you! |
| March 2010 | Mel Johnson | Some strong contenders this month from the club's ladies with impressive performances over 10k for both Nik Archer and Helen Smith. However, one performance stands out this month: Her superb PB in the Wilmslow Half Marathon earns the Athlete of the Month award for MEL JOHNSON! |
| February 2010 | Tony Archer | A tricky decision this month as there have been some incredible performances including Andy Gibbs' gold medal at the Northern Vets XC, Stevie Stockton winning a senior medal for Vale Royal at the National XC, and medals galore at the County XC Champs - but in recognition of his superb run at the Cheshire Championships, the Athlete of the Month is TONY ARCHER!!!! |
